Stevii has been involved with quilt making since 1975 and has been a juror and judge for competitions throughout the U.S. She has been the judging coordinator for Road to California since 2002. Stevii is a past President of the California Heritage Quilt Project, has served as President of Quilt San Diego/Visions and on the boards of several quilt guilds. She currently serves as President for the International Quilting Association (IQA) as well as being the book review editor for the IQA Journal. Her quilts have been published in numerous books and magazines as well as having been exhibited both nationally and internationally. She has edited two Visions catalogues and is the co-author of Contemporary Quilting, which was released in the spring of 2005.
Stevii is a graduate of Hampton University with a degree in Human Ecology Education. She worked for eight years for the United States Navy Memorial in Washington, DC as a fundraiser. She was awarded the Department of the Navy’s Meritorious Public Service Award in 2000.

Linda V Taylor
Etna, WY
Linda is a highly accomplished and awarded professional longarm machine quilter whose work has been displayed in many venues and published widely in quilting magazines and books since 1995. Linda has been quilting for over 40 years and is known and respected as one of the pioneers and innovators of the art of longarm machine quilting. To her delight, she has been chosen by her peers 3 times as “Teacher of the Year.” Linda was also chosen by the readers of “Quilters Newsletter” magazine as one of the “Most Influential Persons in the Quilting Industry” (2009) and was selected as one of the “Thirty Most Distinguished Quilters in the World (2008). More recently (2013), she was awarded the coveted “Lifetime Achievement Award” for her exceptional contribution to the machine quilting industry.
Her quilts have been in special exhibits and museums in the United States and Europe, including “Free Motion Masterpieces” 2004 and 2010, “Embellishments” in 2006 and “Longarm Masterpieces” 2012 and in the New England Quilt Museum, Lowell, MA.
She has won numerous quilting awards in shows sponsored by the International Quilting Association, American Quilter’s Society and National Quilter’s Association. She has taken Best of Show three times at the Machine Quilters Showcase and four times at the Dallas Quilt Celebration. Specifically, she won first place in the International Quilt Festival (2 person category) three years in a row, Best Machine Workmanship (wall) in the American Quilters Society Show, 2002 and the coveted Longarm Quilting Award in Paducah (AQS Show) 2005. Her quilts have been in special exhibits and museums in the United States and Europe, including “Free Motion Masterpieces” 2004 and 2010, “Embellishments” in 2006 and “Longarm Masterpieces” 2012 in the New England Quilt Museum, Lowell, MA. Her quilts have also been featured in many other special exhibits at various quilt shows.
